BENNETT SINGER has served as producer or associate producer on a number of national PBS series, including Eyes on the Prize and With God On Our Side. He is currently producing a film on the late civil rights activist Bayard Rustin. As a book editor, his credits include 42 Up (the companion volume to the acclaimed Michael Apted series) and the award-winning anthology Growing Up Gay/Growing Up Lesbian. At Harvard, he was executive editor of the Independent and an editor of the Let's Go travel series. A Chicago native, Singer lives in Brooklyn, New York, and serves as executive editor of Time magazine's education program.
